I am in love with life. I am in love with this planet. I am in love with my friends and family from all across the world and feel utter joy at the idea of getting to visit them and the idea that they get to visit me.

I love when someone asks for one of my recipes, where the best places to go vintage shopping are, where I recommend they visit abroad.

I love when they write me out a long itinerary of must-go spots in their neighbourhood, when they give me a movie recommendation, when they bring back a jar of shiito from Ghana because that’s all I crave.

I love that my friends live in different time zones but have time for me when I call. I love that community doesn’t just mean your neighbours but all those who pour love into you.

And finally, I love when I receive visitors.
